Ava's First Haircut!

Ava got her very first haircut today! She stood very still and really did a great job! Our very talented friend, Anne, did the honors and gave her a very cute cut! I saved the sweet curls to put in her book. My baby is growing up way too fast!

Randy and Betty's Wedding

Scott's cousin got married this morning at Lake Weddington - it was a beautiful day for such a special occasion. Ava was very excited and claimed she was going to the lake to marry Isabella...doesn't sound so good...but hey - she's only 2!

Happy Birthday Ellen!

Last night we celebrated Ellen's 2nd Birthday....we had so much fun together! Ellen had a pink cake with dress-up shoes on top! All of the girls wore beautiful dress-up jewelry!

Home Sweet Home

We made it home safe and sound yesterday. Mr. Turtle and I had a wonderful visit to PA. Thank you, Grammy and Pappy for such a special time! We love you!

Picking Raspberries

Pittsburgh Zoo

We went to the Pittsburgh Zoo on Sunday. It was "Zoo - Boo" Days so Ava Trick-or-Treated her way through as we saw the animals.
She loved the "Teddy Bears"

We walked to the park on Saturday night to feed the squirrels. The weather was beautiful!

Saturday Morning in PA

Saturday was Pappy's Birthday. We opened presents and had a yummy Birthday breakfast. I painted him some official "Ava Art."
After celebrating and reading with Grammy, the girls went shopping and the guys walked to the Waynesburg football game.

High in the Sky

We left VERY early Friday morning to fly to Pennsylania where Grammy and Pappy live when they're not at the lake. It was Ava's second time to fly and she did a great job - with the help of tricks and prizes in my purse. Grammy flew out with us which made the flight a little easier! The airport had exciting castles for kids to enjoy before boarding - very smart! After a stop in Chicago, Pappy picked us up in Pittsburgh....then we were off to their house.

Today is Isabella's Birthday! We celebrated with a fun Crayola themed party....We started out with a juice box......
.....then we swam in an indoor swimming pool - It was a treat to swim in October!

Backyard Surprise

My family lives VERY close to an Elementary school. This morning while I was eating my breakfast, I saw lots of horse trailers pull up right behind my house....then the best thing happened - beautiful horses started marching out. The Cowboys outside were doing a Rodeo Round-Up Day. I'm 2 and far away from Kindergarten - but today, I got to pretend to be a big 5 year old. Mommy and I walked to the school grounds and I got to pet a very pretty horse. So Fun!

Sissy Day

Aunt Sissy and Mommy declared Sunday afternoon as "Sissy Day." They left William and I with Daddy and Craig and headed out for shopping, lunch, and coffee. According to Mommy, it is very important and very necessary to do this every so often!

Happy Times

Kristin, Craig, and William came for a visit this weekend. It is so much fun to eat breakfast with William! We had lots of fun playing together.

Small Town Living

Sometimes we visit the small grocery store in town when we don't have a lot to buy.... this has become one of my favorite activities beacuse there are "Ava-sized" carts made especially for little people like me. Oh, how I love to push all by myself!

Friends and Pumpkins

Jamey and Emma Claire came to play this morning. My Great Grandma made the pumpkins we are holding when Mommy was a little girl. We had lots of fun throwing them around. I think Jamey looks especially "cool" in my sunglasses. Baby Jack came to play too. He hung out with his Mommy....I got to touch his teeny feet....he sure is a cutie. Thanks for coming to play!
