Christmas at the Lake

We had a Merry Christmas at the lake yesterday. The girls had a great day together!

Jane is getting over a double ear infection. She slept most of the day away and missed out on a lot of the fun. Poor Janie!

The girls and their "Bzzzzz" toothbrushes...as they called them! They were both so giddy about having battery operated brushes! The thrill of this gift was so cute!

Pre-School Party

Ava's class had their Christmas Party today. Miss. Brenda made it extra special. They had special snacks and activities.

Cousin Day

Ava and Isabella had a fun filled day together. Scott and Jeff took the girls on a Daddy/Daughter date to see The Princess and the Frog. Isabella came over afterwards to eat pizza and spend the evening with us.

After baths, all three girls got snuggly in their jammies and watched Polar Express until bedtime. Jane jumped right in for a few minutes of fun before going to bed.

Nativity Bling

Ava added her special touch to the nativity today. A TinkerBell wand in the background and a pink sparkle ring from the Wisemen to baby Jesus. Ava said..."It's just perfect now!"

Shots & Check Ups

We had a big day of check ups for both girls! Jane did a great job getting poked from head to toe...not to mention 4 shots! eek! She weighs 18 pounds and is 27 inches long. What a big girl!
Poor Ava thought she was going for a check up and moral support for Jane's shots. She ended up getting her first round of "Big Girl" shots. Two pokes later, a few silent tears, and a sweet quivering chin...she was just fine! She did a superb job under pressure and made her Mama proud!

Christmas Parade!

Scott took Ava to the 2009 Christmas parade. This is just one of the things we love about living in a sweet small town. I stayed home with Jane ... she napped late and it was FREEZING outside. Ava and Isabella enjoyed the festivities together!

The weather was perfect for sidewalk chalk this weekend! I joined in the fun and drew our little family! Jane had her fair share of fun with chalk as well!

Silver Dollar City

We went to Silver Dollar City on Friday. Ava loved all of the rides.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a Happy Thanksgiving at the lake! Ava & Isabella had the privilege of eating on Grammy's china! It was a special treat!

After our meal, the girls turned themselves into princesses (capes and all) and Grammy read stories.

The dinner table turned into a mega playhouse where the girls had a ball dragging every possible toy inside! It kept them quite entertained!

We ended our Thanksgiving day with baths, jammies, and lots of snuggles!

Thankful

Our family has so much to be thankful for. This year we started the tradition of writing on leaves and hanging them on a tree every night at dinner. Ava had a great time doing it! Happy Thanksgiving! Gobble Gobble!

Mum and Papa

Mum and Papa were able to be together with all 4 Grandkids on Jane's Birthday. We had lots of fun! Ava managed to hijack Jane's new chair from Mr. Lee for the pictures!

We are thankful to have had such a fun Birthday weekend and can't wait to be together again at Christmas!

Jane Turns One!

Jane turned ONE on Saturday! It's hard to believe a year has gone by. We celebrated with a pumpkin party. First off...Jane and Ava had some cuddle time with Grandma Great. All of our family was able to be at the party which made it extra special.

After a game of "Jane-O" Bingo...it was time for cake! Jane enjoyed everyone singing to her....but I think she enjoyed the cake even more!

With a little help from Mommy...that cake was gone in a flash!

Aunt Lorena out did herself once again and made a beautiful "Pumpkin Girl" pinata! Jane took the first honorary swing...

...next came her cousins...

We had a great time celebrating our sweet girl! She will always be my baby....forever and ever!!
