Homemade Fruit Leather

I got this recipe from Bible Study last week...So easy and quite tasty too!

Ava loves any sort of fruit snack and this is definitely a cheap and healthy way to go!
Next time, I will bake 2 batches at the same time...12 hrs is a long time to wait for a fruit leather to bake! I also thought the all natural flavored applesauces would be a fun thing to try.

Enjoy!

Fruit Leather

2 T lemon juice

2 T honey

2 Cups applesauce

Cooking Spray

1. Pre-heat oven to warm - 200* degrees

2. Mix applesauce, honey, & lemon juice

3. Coat a 9x13 glass baking dish with spray...Pour mixture in and spread evenly.

4. Bake @200* for 12 hours (yes 12), or until pliable, but not brittle.

5. Cut in strips and store in air tight container

Oooooh, that looks yummy. Wow, that's a long time to have your oven on! Did it turn out yummy? Also, is it easy for Ava to chew? Okay, I am going to try that!!
