My Pals

Last weekend Mommy had a garage sale with some friends. While they sold their stuff, I hung out with Jamey, Jake, and Isabelle. We had lots of fun together. Several people asked if those cute kids were for sale....Silly People, Crazy People, No Way!!!

My New Chair

I finally got my high chair. Mommy and Daddy picked it out especially for me to sit in at meal time and while Mommy is in the kitchen. We're going to paint it, seal it, and make a special cushion just for me. Maybe someday I will inherit it for my babies to eat in.

Bath Time and Scooting

I love bath time and scooting. I've discovered that the two go hand in hand. After bath time I scoot out of my bunny towel and straight for a toy. Thanks Mom, for covering my bum in this picture.

Bottoms Up!

This is my new way of sleeping...I stick my bottom up as far as it will go and scrunch the rest of my body. Mommy wonders how this could possibly be comfortable. Hey, whatever makes a baby sleep makes a Mommy happy.

Ava, The Scooter

On Monday, I officially began scooting/crawling. Mommy and I have a new game. She stacks my favorite cups and I scoot, scoot, and scooooooot some more until......CRASH....they all fall down. I am getting so strong with my scooting skills!

We had dinner with Grammy and Pappy on Friday night. It was so much fun...we didn't plan it, but orange was definitely the color to be wearing!

Hooray, Mail!

Today Mommy and I discovered a box on the doorstep. We love to get fun mail. Mum and Papa sent me an Easter surprise. Thanks for all the loot! I love my lamb book, the cuddly lovey, and my new outfit. I love you!

Grammy's Visit

New View

Well, I got my "big" surprise tonight at bedtime. My mattress is moved WAY down and I am STUCK! As you can see, I can just barely peek out above my bumpers. I guess I'll just make myself comfortable because I'm not going anywhere. Good night....sleep tight....don't crawl out of your crib!

Trapped

Last night I gave Mommy and Daddy quite a scare. They came to check on me long after I was "supposed" to be asleep. They found me pushing my bumper pads down and holding onto my crib almost peeking over the edge. It was really quite a view! To say the least, my exit plan didn't work. As a result, I ended up in my pack-n-play....not near as much fun , I might add. On top of that, they covered the sides with pillows to make me sleep this afternoon. Mommy says I will have a whole new view tonight from my crib. Daddy is going to lower my mattress so there will be NO escaping. At least I can say I tried.

Carrots, Bananas, and Toes

I've just started taking "in between" bites during mealtime. Here's how it goes.... a tatse of carrots, a nibble of banana, and my favorite, a slurp of toe. You really should try it...I think you'd love it.
