Pretty Flowers

Grammy and Pappy have pretty flowers on their deck. I loved eating outside and looking at the pretty flowers.

Animals at the Lake

At the lake I saw a baby fish and a baby deer. The deer is a little fuzzy...we think she lost her Mommy. I hope these babies don't want to swim at the pool---they might get kicked out! hee hee hee!

Water Baby

We visited the lake for Memorial Day weekend. I was very excited about going to the pool for a swim. Mommy slathered sunscreen on me, put on my special swim diaper, and topped it off with my sun hat. I loved the pool--but only for a few minutes. We learned shortly after our dip that there was a mean rule against little people like me. NO DIAPERS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED IN THE POOL! In other words, we were kicked out! My Mommy doesn't get upset too often, but she did not like this rule at all. What a silly rule!

Summer Jammies

Mommy put my shortie jammies on tonight because it feels like summer outside. Daddy made me wear knee socks just in case my piggies get cold. I showed Daddy my musical tricks before I went to bed. Note to Mommy----Move the radio before I pull it off the shelf!

Sugar Daddy

If you give a baby a popcicle, chances are, she will always ask for more. Daddy came in from mowing the lawn and had his usual popcicle. I gave him one of my cutest smiles ever and guess what I got? Yep, much to Mommy's dismay, I got a lick of his tasty treat. It didn't stop at that, I crawled right on Daddy to win another lick. Mommy says it was actually a pretty sweet picture opportunity!

I Love My Cousin!

Tonight we celebrated Aunt Lorena's Birthday. Grammy and Pappy were excited to have both of their girls together. The adults ate a rib dinner and chocolate cake and the babies got sippy cups, crackers, and Cheerios. I'm starting to thing we're getting the raw end of the deal when it comes to food. Both Isabella and I are crawling, pulling up, and into everything! We add lots of fun energy to family get-togethers. How did they ever have fun without us?

Curious Ava

Mommy is finding more and more things to take out of my reach. This morning I crawled to my music box and pushed and poked until music came out. I poked some more and the music got VERY loud. I am a curious little girl who keeps Mommy on her toes all day long....except for nap time. When nap time rolls around, Mommy says "Ahhhhhhh!"

Boy Toys

My friend Jake came to hang out last week. He brought along some of his cool cars and trucks. I had fun making them go. I also helped Mommy pick Isabelle up from school. We went to Sonic for cherry slushies and fries. I had a refreshing sippy cup of water. Yum!

Big Girl

Today I went for my 9 month check up. Dr. Mahan was so proud of me. I am now a whopping 14 pounds & 2 ounces and am 25 3/4 inches long...woo-hoo! I don't look too happy in this picture because the nurse pricked my toe to check my iron. The doctor says it is time to eat yogurt and shredded meats. I tried some roasted chicken tonight...it was so good...better than squashed squash! Mommy says I am officially becoming a big girl.

Home Ec 101

At 9 1/2 months, I had my first baking lesson. Grammy showed me the basics of making berry cobbler. This was very interesting because I wanted to look with my hands instead of my eyes. This lesson lasted all of 30 seconds because it was just too tempting.

Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins

My cousin Isabella came over last night with Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lorena. Grammy had so much fun playing with us.

I had a playdate with 3 of my friends. Mommy's Friend Anne came over for a coffee date. Lily is holding me and Eve is holding baby Ellen.

Jesus Loves Ava

Here is a picture of my dedication cake. From what I heard, it was delicious. Mommy says I'll have to wait until my Birthday to dive into a piece of cake.

Aunts and Cousins

Aunt Sissy has started a charm bracelet for me. In honor of my dedication, I received a heart with a cross in the middle. When I grow up just a little bit more, I will get to wear my special bracelet. Thanks Aunt Sissy...ILY!

Family

My Mum, Papa, Aunt Kristin, William, and Grammy spent the day with me. We had a great day together! Pappy is coming soon.....Hurry up...I miss you!

Sometimes Mommy has a bit too much fun with her camera. She thinks it is so funny to take pictures of me when I am happy and sad, hungry and full, dirty and clean...the list goes on and on. Here I am before and after lunch. Put down that camera and FEED ME!
