3 Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed!

After our bath we needed just one more laugh. Emma Claire and Jamey jumped into my crib with me. We bounced and giggled.....and giggled some more. I was hoping for a sleepover but before I knew it, my friends went home. Thanks for a fun day!

Dinner Party

We had a spontaneous dinner party with our sweet friends tonight. Jamey and Emma Claire came over and we had an evening playdate to go along with our lunch date at the mall. Since we were all together, the mommies decided to throw us in the tub. Jamey didn't like the idea of bathing with girls so he got his very own boy bath in Mommy's room.

Happy Birthday to Emma Claire!

Today was Emma Claire's 2nd Birthday. We had Chilck-fil-A to celebrate. Jamey gave us a little lesson on fountain appreciation at the mall. The Mommies lined our strollers up and we enjoyed our lunch by the water.

Snack Date

Alex and I had an especially special snack time today. We got to sit at my little table where we dined on crackers and water....SO gourmet! I love having dates with Alex!

Return to Sender

Today I woke up from my nap just in time to help Mommy with her Bible study. She gave me some very cool stickers that came free in the mail. I have this new fettish with stickers. I thought they might add a little pizazz to my face, my dress, and of course Mommy's book. I was going to surprise Mommy by putting them a few more places but they've disappeared. Go figure!

Playing at the Park

Mommy and Daddy took me to the park after dinner. I loved swinging and sliding best of all. As you can see, I was far too busy to smile for the camera. I can't wait to come back to the park soon!

Little Farmers

Here are my little farmer friends. We had a fabulous time helping Molly take care of the farm.

Cow Girl

After playing with Coconut, we visited the cows. I love to look at the cows from my carseat while Mommy is driving --- so this morning was a real treat to see them up close. My friends and I got to stand my the the fence so we could watch them eat. Molly carried me inside the fence and I got to pet the great big cows! Moooooooooo!

This morning I made some new animal friends. We went to Molly's farm for a playdate with Jamey, Emma Claire, Charley, and Caleb. Boy was it ever fun! Here I am with Coconut. She sure is soft and sweet!

Grandma & Grandpa Great

Today we went to visit my G & G Great and Great Aunt Vickie. We went out to lunch and spent the afternoon visiting, playing, and giving high 5's. Mum and Papa left from there to go home to Texas and we came home. Thus ends my long visit with Mum and Papa. Thanks for such a special visit! I love you!

Early Easter

This morning I woke up and found a very special basket full of goodies. Mum and Papa gave me an early Easter basket! In it, I found Spring Jammies, books, sweet treats, flashcards, lots of eggs, an Easter purse and several other treats!

As you can tell, I have enjoyed my basket all day long. I load it up, carry it around, and dump it out! Mum and Papa put Smarties in my basket.... They call me "Smarty Pants" but I don't quite know that these Smarties are candy...they just look like a colorful toy. Mommy is considering the option of letting me taste one....I think I might like them!

Mum and Papa's Visit!

It happened again! Mum and Papa came back to my house for an extra l-o-n-g visit! They arrived on Thursday and we played and played! It's so special having Grandparents around. When they are here, it means I have 24 hour playmates. Here are just a few of the fun things we did...Papa turned my tablecloth into a cape....(something Mommy would never think of!) They also played my fun memory game when I was sleeping! Who says grown-ups have to act their age!?!?!

Daddy and Papa did their usual fishing and the girls shopped and played! I think the girls got the better end of the deal! I don't particularly like to smell like slimy fish and stand in freezing cold water!

I love to help Daddy get ready for work each morning. Sometimes we like to trade shoes, but pink doesn't always match what he's wearing. I sure do love my Daddy!

The Mommy Test

I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter one day. She picked something up off the ground and started to put it in her mouth.

I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that.

"Why?" my daughter asked.

"Because it's been on the ground, you don't know where it's been, it's dirty and probably has germs," I replied.

At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked, "Mommy, how do you know all this stuff? You are so smart.

" I was thinking quickly. "All moms know this stuff. It's on the MommyTest. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mommy."

We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidentlypondering this new information.

"OH...I get it!" she beamed, "So if you don't pass the test you have to be the daddy." "Exactly!"

Visit With Marilyn

We had some special visitors on Saturday night. Marilyn, Steve, and George came over to play a very fun dice game called Farkle...funny name but a VERY serious game! I didn't get to stay up to play but it sounded like fun from my crib. Daddy was the big winner!

Ocean Bath

Today I took a bath in beautiful blue water. Thanks to Crayola Color Dots, I can have very colorful baths!

Mommy wants to teach me how to mix colors. Tomorrow we are going to make a purple bath!

Elmo's New World

Today Mommy and I went shopping. We have been on the look out for a VERY VERY VERY little Elmo. This was my lucky day! We were at Target and there he was just waiting for me to take him home. Mommy caved and bought me this little prize for being such a good little girl during our errands. I sure do love my new friend!

Little Mouse

This is my favorite mouse hat. As you can see, I wear it ALL the time. Sometimes I wear it sideways or backwards when I am in funny moods. My Mommy says it is somewhat of an obsession.

Reading with Pappy

Pappy and I shared some special time together doing one of my favorite things...READING! We cuddled up on the couch and read book after book.

Weekend at the Lake with Grammy & Pappy

We went to the lake on Saturday. I spent the whole day with Grammy and Pappy while Mommy and Daddy had a nice LONG date. There is always a fun surprise waiting for me when I go to the lake. This time, Grammy had a fluffy white teddy bear. Grammy sewed the bear a beautiful new wardrobe. She's a very crafty Grammy!! We dressed the bear over and over and had a fabulous time.

Thanks for making my sleepover so special! I can't wait to come back to see you and Mrs. Bear.
