Christmas Morning

I woke up in all my Christmas garb. Santa came to Mum's house and left me lots of treats. I love my vacuum cleaner, shopping cart, and tricycle (pictures to come later). William got a very cool remote control tarantula...we had loads of fun scaring everyone with it. William gave me baby Goldfish and a Razorback headband...as you can tell, I wore it all day long.

....I sure hope Santa will fill our socks...sometimes I'm naughty....I hope I don't get rocks!!!

Christmas Eve 2006

We had a full house on Christmas Eve. Grammy and Pappy joined us in Texas at Mum and Papa's house. One Granddaughter and 4 Grandparents...it was a baby's paradise! Here we are after the candlelight service at church.

Water Break

My friend Alex came to play today. We always have a good time. Today we played so hard we had to stop for a water break. I just love it when Alex comes to play!

My New Ride

My Doctor told Mommy that I am finally big enough to ride in my new seat. I LOVE facing forward and looking out the window. Mum thought I needed a zebra to match my seat...he likes to ride with me! I feel like such a big girl now!

Dollhouse Frenzy!

I woke up this morning and headed straight to my dollhouse!
My imagination is at work! I love my dollhouse because:

- I can put the potty in the kitchen.
- I can put Mommy in the crib or high chair
- I can take a bath with the doggy
- I can put the doggy on the potty
- I can throw people out the windows

Mommy put me down for my nap and I took the potty with me.
Thanks for such a super-duper gift!

Cute as can Bee!

Grammy & Pappy found the most amazing books about Isabella and I! Mine has a picture of me on every page dressed as a different animal. I turn each page and scream AYYYYYA!

Christmas Celebration

Yesterday we went to Grammy & Pappy's house for a special Christmas lunch with Uncle Jeff, Aunt Lorena, and Isabella. We had so much fun gazing at their beautiful cardinal themed tree.
Isabella and I got to tear into some very exciting gifts. This year I am a bit more interested in what is beneath the bows and tissue paper. We each received a dollhouse filled with furniture and people. Woo-Hoo! Thanks for all of the wonderful loot!

Happy and Sad

Our sweet friends Adrion and Elizabeth graduated with their Masters...which makes me happy.
They are moving away after Christmas...which makes me sad. I will miss them as well as my friends, Iasbelle and Jake. We had a party for them on Saturday...it was a happy and sad party.

The Ava Wall

Mommy's friend took some pictures of our family last month. There were lots of cute ones so we decided to frame some and make an official Ava wall. I love to look, point, and scream ayyyyya! That's how I say my name.

The Many Moods of Santa: Satisfied Santa

Mommy says I'm going through a "moody" stage of life. I like things to be done my way....if this doesn't happen, I tend to get a little moody and let's just say I've thrown a few fits today. Mommy keeps on telling me that if I'm going to wear my Santa garb...I really should start smiling. Mommy decided to remedy this "phase" with an extra nap. Not exactly what I had in mind but she seemed to be sure it will make for a happy evening at my house.

This morning was a blast! I had a playdate with Jonathan, Jamey, and Emma Claire. I love playing with my special friends! The mommies sat around, drank coffee and played referee to our little shinanigans. Thanks for coming over!

Ava's Advent

We're counting down the days until Christmas at my house. Last year my Great Aunt Linda and Uncle Jim made me this very special advent. Every day I get to pick a new ornament and hang it on the tree! When it's filled up...it's CHRISTMAS! Hooray!

Meet Paige Eden

Mommy spent the night with her college friends last night. She got to hold and play with my newest friend, Paige Eden! Isn't she just beautiful.

My creative Aunt Kristin has given me 3 charms so far in my 1 year of life. When I am older she will put them on a charm bracelet for me. Here is the one she gave me for my Birthday. Thanks Aunt Sissy!

Just a Few More Birthday Memories

My Birthday got better by the hour! After eating pancakes I got to tear open paper to find cool toys inside! It was the best day ever! William, Isabella, and I had a blast!

It was so much fun to wake up on my real Birthday and celebrate with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins,
Grampas, and Grandmas (and my parents too!) Papa made his famous apple pancakes. I got a a Mickey Mouse because it was my special day. Yum! Yum!
