Dear Sweet Friends!

Last weekend was the 9th annual Girl's Weekend for my college friends. We all made it this year which made the weekend really fun! It was a treat to have Kelly back in the states! We had so much fun catching up, hanging out...and eating of course. Here we are with a rather large supply of Blue Bell (thanks, Dad) for dessert!

Mountain Home

Last weekend, we took a weekend trip to Mountain Home and stayed at a fun place on Rim Shoals. The girls did fun crafts and Mommy learned a few basics about sewing while the men fished! We had a great time!

Natural Falls

After naps on Saturday - we headed to Natural Falls State Park. We had a great time and were worn out by the end of our outing...there were (too) many steps to climb and bridges to cross.

Ava played on the big playground while Jane and I practiced her mad sitting skills...I took this right before her nose dive into the grass...ha!

Ava's 2nd Fishing Derby

Ava and Scott woke up bright and early for a Fishing Derby date. They left by 7:30 and had a big time catching fish....They made it home by 9:30 to find Mommy and Jane still their pj's and Mommy on her 2nd cup of coffee....I think Jane and Mommy got the better deal of the morning!!! Ava LOVES worms...definitely her daddy's daughter! waiting...waiting...waiting

I love my girly girl who must accessorize to go fishing with sunglasses and all. She was so proud of that fish and wanted to hold its stinky sliminess...eeek! They had a super fun time! A sweet memory for sure!

Fun-Filled Saturday

We had a fun Saturday! This morning was the last day of Iddy Biddy Soccer...the girls were ever so excited to get their trophies and treats!

After soccer, Ava and Scott washed the car. The weather was perfect for car washing...and a great excuse for Ava to sport her new suit!

This afternoon, we went to see Isabella perform at her Spring Recital. She did a great job! Way to go, Isabella! These pictures came our especially small for some reason...so cute though!

Girlfriends

Elizabeth and her 3 came over yesterday to give our friend, Liz, a shower for her sweet boy.

Here are the 4 girls....Addison, Ava, Isabelle, and Jane....Mr. Jake was off doing his own thing, so we didn't catch him for a picture. Trust me, he's cute!

Weekend O' Fun

Mum and Papa came to visit this weekend. We had a great time!
Ava practiced putting on her eyebrows with Mum...doing make-up is an all time favorite thing to do with both Mum and Grammy. We made sure to take it off before heading out for the day!

Scott and Papa promised to take Ava fishing on Sunday night...but it rained...so...Scott made his own fishing pond in the kitchen. Ava threw her pole over the quilt and she caught fish along with other goodies. She was so excited and quite proud of her casts!

Although we don't have lots of pictures to share, Ava told me her 5 favorite things about the weekend with Mum and Papa...

1. Having apple pie and a juice box with Mum at the cafe downtown.

2. Going to the candy store (with only Mum) downtown.

3. Reading lots of books.

5. Special Fishing

We were supposed to go to the lake today - but Scott woke up with a high fever and feeling icky. We are having a chill out day at home. Today is Lorena's Birthday and we are bummed not to be celebrating with her today! We hope you feel extra loved today, Aunt Lorena!!! xoxo

Happy 6 Months

Our sweet baby Jane turned 6 months yesterday....She had her well baby appointment with shots and all! She weighs 14 pounds 3 oz and is 25 inches long. She is seriously a sugary sweet baby! We love love love her!

Our sweet friends came for a visit today! Jonathan is the new Big Brother to his Little Sis, Grace! We had fun oohing and ahhing over sweet baby Grace...she and Jane are destined to be great friends!

Farewell Pre-School

Ava had her last day of pre-school last Thursday!

We had a great year! Ms. Jennifer was the perfect fit for Ava! We miss it already!
