First Snow of 2008

We had our first big snow today..... with HUGE snowflakes.

I can't wait to play in it tomorrow!

Ava's 2nd Haircut

I got my 2nd haircut today! I'm sporting a new "bow bow" that Mommy's friend made. Check out Sara's website....2 blond boys.....it's super cute!

Meet Korena

My very sweet babysitter, Korena, came to stay with me for a few hours tonight. She used to be one of Mommy's very special 4th grade students...I'm so glad she's a part of my life! I love it when Korena comes because Mommy leaves extra special things to keep us happy and busy.

Visiting Our "Greats"

We went to Tahlequah on Thursday to visit G&G Great. Grandpa Great moved into a retirement center a few months ago. We brought him some ice cream and visited for a while. It's always a treat to see my "Greats!"

My Personal Banker

William and Sissy are here for a few days before William heads back to first grade. He got a super-duper coin separator for Christmas and took it upon himself to separate and roll all of our coins....most of which were pennies...Mommy likes quarters and silver coins much better! We came up with $39.46! William's payment is lunch at Chick-Fil-A and a few rolls of pennies!

Puzzles with Papa

Mum and Papa had to leave this morning. Papa and I are usually the first to wake up - this morning we had some special puzzle time. We love you, Mum and Papa, and had such a wonderful Christmas in Texas!

Happy 2008 To You!

Happy 2008! We brought in the new year with Mum, Papa, Grammy, and Pappy.

We had a great time playing, eating, eating, eating, and playing cards. We thank God for family , friends, and good health and pray blessings to your family as well!

Surprise Visit!

Mommy's friend, Ruth Lee, and her boys were in town yesterday and we met for a fun visit! It was far too short, but SO great to see our dear friends! We got to meet Hudson's adorable baby brother (who was sleeping) as well!

I gave William Monopoly and we've played 7 times since Christmas Day!
Sissy found this very cute Lady and the Tramp costume for next October!

William recorded every last gift he received - so cute! He was very serious about his note taking!

Christmas Morning

We had a very Merry Christmas and spent the whole day in our pajamas!

Stockings were a big hit - I loved my little treasures. This year, I realized there were fun things hidden beneath the pretty paper - woo-hoo!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at William's house...Sissy made tomato basil soup in sourdough breadbowls and it was quite yummy! Mum gave us Christmas jammies...we had a great night!

Building a Bear

Last Sunday, Sissy and I had a date at the "Build-a-Bear" workshop. I created my own Christmas present and was it ever fun!

First I picked out my bear......
......then I got to push the pedal to fill my bear up with lots of love.....
...I chose a heart, gave it a kiss, and tucked it inside of my bear....
...after the bear was sewn, I gave it a bath....
.....we tried on several outfits including Spiderman...I have an obsession with him and nobody knows why.... we finally decided on a girly Hello Kitty outfit.

....Sissy and I printed out my bear's birth certificate.....
Ta-Da....here she is!
