Play-Dough

Grammy came for a visit tonight and brought bright pink play-dough. We mashed it, made worms, and cut out stars. Mommy was shocked that I didn't try to eat it! After play-dough, we went out for pizza.

What a Monday!

Today started off great with a long walk with my little friends. After I ate a great lunch with Daddy, Mommy put me down for my nap. I decided I wasn't quite ready and was determined to get out of my crib (for the second time in my life). I meticulously placed my stuffed kitty cat on top of my stuffed trout and proceded to climb out....using my rocking chair as a prop to spot my "drop."

DROP.....THUD....SCARE....SCREAM.....TEARS......ENTER MOMMY

In walked Mommy...I was just sure that she would deliver me from my nap. We rocked and talked about the importance of staying in bed. After a full examination...you'll never guess what happened. Oh Yes, back to bed I went!

Tonight I will not be sleeping with anything stuffed and my rocker will be pushed far away from my crib. Daddy will also double check that the matress is as low as it will go!

This afternoon had much less drama. I wore my tutu and waited for Daddy to come home...Grammy is coming for a visit and Mommy is thankful the drama is over with for the day...we hope!

Goodbye For Now

Mum and Papa had to go back to Texas today. This morning we ate breakfast , played with toys , and I rode my pet horse. Mum and papa are coming back in a few weeks! I miss them already! Thanks for coming! I'm sending lots of hugs and Kisses to Texas!

Grammy comes tomorrow and Pappy will be here soon! I'd better get some rest in between my playdates!

Love From Texas!

I woke up on Saturday morning and my Mum and Papa were here! Hooray! They came from Texas for a weekend visit. Saturday morning Mum and I played with some flashcards and Papa carried me around in a cool basket. We had so much fun. The girls went shopping for the day and the Dads went fishing....If you don't know by now, Daddy and Papa share the same hobby of fishing! We had a great day!

Playdate

Jamey and Emma Claire came to play this morning. We ate snacks and shared toys! Thanks for coming to hang out!

Art Time = Brave Mommy

Mommy covered my little table with paper so that Alex and I could color. I love crayons and making marks on lots and lots of things.....not necessarily paper things. After 5 minutes, art time was over and Mommy was ready to put the crayons back in a very high spot in her secret place.

Dinner Date

Last night we had Uncle Jeff, Rob, Jessica, and Noah over for tacos. Noah sat next to me and helped me eat my yogurt. He is a nice friend...and cute too!

Today Mommy and I made Valentine cupcakes. I had the most important job...SPRINKLES!

Mommy's friend, Betsy, also known as my Aunt Betsy gave me 2 aprons and my Mommy a matching one for my Birthday. Mommy and I decided to wear them for our cupcake baking and sprinkling.

Yo Baby!

Today I ate turkey, cheese, and crackers for lunch. I prefer to feed myself, and feeding myself yogurt is not a pretty sight. Daddy cut a straw in half and let me drink my yogurt. I thought I was pretty cool doing this all by myself.

Note to reader...As you can see I am still in my jammies and so is my Mommy..Isn't that what Saturdays are all about?

Book Worm

I love to climb into my big brown chair and read books! Mommy even lets me have my icy water and goldfish. Today I am reading my ten tiny Bible stories that Aunt Sissy gave me last year.

Snow Day!

If I were in school, Mommy says this would be a very exciting day. We have lots of snow and all the kids in town are out of school. The kids who live on my street have been sledding down the big hill. I can't wait until I am old enough to go play in the street by myself. "Maybe when your 18," says Mommy.
