Father's Day Post
It was great to celebrate Father's Day morning with Papa and Daddy. Here we are on the eve of Father's Day opening gifts...I wore my "I love Dad" pj's in honor of the big day. I painted Daddy a special page in his Father's Day book....the baby even put a picture in this year.
I sure do love my Daddy!
Sunday afternoon, we met Grammy, Pappy, Jeff, Lorena, and Isabella at the pool...then had a picnic in the park. It was a great celebration!

Mum and Papa are Here!
Mum and Papa came for the weekend! We are having a a great time together. Here we are opening my surprise bag of goodies.....I love goodies.
My dear friend, Emma Claire, is moving soon. We adopted her play set. Daddy and Papa spent the whole day moving it and getting it all ready for me to enjoy. Thanks for sharing, EC! I sure do love it!

Shopping With Grammy and Pappy
We met Grammy and Pappy at the outdoor mall on Saturday. Grammy and I threw coins into the fountain and made wishes.
Pappy and I shared a few gummy bears while Mommy and Grammy looked in stores.

Ava's First Fishing Derby
Ava had a ball at the fishing derby this year. The worms were definitely her favorite part!
Scott had loads of fun casting that Dora fishing pole!
Nash and Ava had a great morning together. Nash wanted to catch a shark and Ava wanted a pink fish. Neither were caught...go figure....maybe next year!

Girls Weekend - 2008

We celebrated Girls Weekend 2008 on Memorial Day weekend. It was a great time - the only thing missing was 2 of the 7. Jackie was home with a sick child and Kelly is in Kiev....we did get to chat with her on the WebCam which was very fun! Hopefully 2009 will bring us all together again! This is most definitely a tradition to continue through many years to come! Good times indeed!

Special Delivery.....
...due December 3, 2008...To say the least, we are very very excited to be a family of four! Please join us in praying for a healthy pregnancy. Ava insists that she will need a hammer to get the baby out and I walk around (most of the time) with Holly, the dolly, stuck up my shirt, thanks to Ava. Fun times indeed!

Transitions

TGIF
We saw Jamey and Jack at the local Farmer's Market this morning and decided to walk downtown....luckily, Jamey's Mom had a camera and shared these pictures with me. Our first stop was a little sight seeing (and hugging) at the newly remodeled fountain. After the fountain, we stopped by the local candy store to pick out some nickel and dime candy.... decisions...decisions...what's a girl to choose?!?! Oh the life!

Good Times at the Festival
Last weekend was our annual Dogwood festival. We walked around and saw everything there was to see. Ava scored a "Slim Jim" balloon.....she was so proud!

Sweetest Card Ever!
There's nothing sweeter than the innocence of a first grader. I turned 31 last week and spent the weekend in Dallas with family. My sweet William gave me this card. Perhaps he got his words a little mixed up - but that's what makes it so perfect!Backyard Camping
It's been a long long while since our last post.....Scott set his tent up in the backyard last week so Ava could "camp" for a few minutes. I can't tell who had more fun...Scott or Ava?!?!

Signs of Spring
My neighbor, Nash, invited me to take a peek at his newborn bunny rabbits. They are so cute and teensy tiny! Nash and I love to play outside together...We are so thankful for our sweet neighbors!
